‘Beaver Falls’: Series 2 episode guide

Posted Filed under

Comedy-drama Beaver Falls returns to E4 for a new six-part series this month. But things have changed at Beaver Falls: there are new owners, new counsellors, new kids and new relationships for the Brits to deal with.

Executive producer Charlie Pattinson teases: “Beaver Falls is back bigger than ever this year with a gorgeous clutch of new camp counsellors falling in and out of each other’s beds. This year it’s not just the Californian sunshine turning up the heat on our three heroes relationships…”

Episode 1
Monday 6th August 2012, 10pm

Barry, ever optimistic, fully expecting to pick up where he left off with Kimberley, A-Rab harbouring hopes that he and Rachael can start again with a clean slate, and Flynn ready to hurl himself back into his camp lothario role. But things have changed at Beaver Falls… there are new owners, new counsellors, new kids and new relationships for the Brits to deal with. A-Rab is delighted that Rachael is back but, much to his horror, she now has hot new husband Mac (Tom Austen) in tow.

And, speaking of hotties, it doesn’t take long for feisty new counsellor PJ (Scarlett Alice Johnson) to catch Flynn’s eye. Completing the new gang is the ever so slightly wild-eyed Hope (Emer Kenny), an uber-perky princess with her sights set on A-Rab. There’s tequila to be drunk, new friends and mortal enemies to be made. One thing is for sure, things aren’t going to go quite as the boys planned…

Episode 2
Monday 13th August 2012, 10pm

It’s juvie day – the day when the over privileged elite of Beaver Falls and the criminally challenged underclass of Yuba City Juvenille detention centre come together in friendship… supposedly…

And friendship – or lack of – is the theme of the day as the feud between Barry and A-rab continues to drive everyone mad. But when Mac accidentally lets slip to the Chunk Bunk that Flynn is dying, the warring factions are forced to temporarily suspect hostilities in order to try and contain the secret – easier said than done when Hope spots an opportunity to turn it to her own advantage…

Episode 3
Monday 20th August 2012, 10pm

Relationships – new ones, developing ones and ones that are crashing around your ears – are the order of the day. Bobby is using Pam’s birthday as a way to punish her for wrecking his chances with Thurston’s mum.

Rachael is caught in a game of sexual one-upmanship with A-Rab, Hope and a very reluctant Mac. Flynn is getting tired of PJ’s game playing. However, no one is having quite as bad a time as Barry, who comes face to face with what being in a proper, grown-up relationship really means. It becomes pretty clear, pretty quickly that this isn’t going to come easily to him.

Episode 4
Monday 27th August 2012, 10pm

It’s Mac’s big day as Beaver Falls welcomes rival sports camp Wimoweh for their annual basketball match. Bobby is convinced that golden boy Mac is going to turn around Beaver Falls’ history of embarrassing failure and win the game for him this year, but the pressure is getting to Mac. That pressure explodes in a most unexpected way with an unforeseen kiss that throws the whole camp into chaos. It looks as though everyone is going to have to face a few home truths.

Episode 5
Monday 3rd September 2012, 10pm

It’s the end of the world according to some publicity-seeking prophet in the news and Beaver Falls has gone mad.

The counsellors may scoff at the campers’ childish panic but with Flynn and PJ’s relationship undergoing a seismic change, two summers’ worth of ‘will they, won’t they’ about to explode between A-Rab and Rachael, Kimberley and Barry considering a threesome, and Hope a woman well and truly on the edge… maybe Armageddon is upon them after all.

Episode 6
Monday 10th September 2012, 10pm

Flynn and PJ’s big day has finally arrived and seems to be having a crazy effect on everyone except the happy couple: Rachael is still not speaking to A-Rab, Kimberley and Barry are wondering what the end of the summer means for them and Hope is back – big time.

However, with Bobby primed to drop the he-had-sex-with-your-mother bomb before PJ says ‘I do’, Hope determined to screw over anyone she can and half the camp knowing what Flynn did last summer, is there any chance that Beaver Falls’ first wedding will go ahead without a hitch?
