Peter Capaldi’s feature-length debut episode of Doctor Who will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month, with exclusive added content.

Directed by Ben Wheatley (Sightseers), ‘Deep Breath’ is the first episode of Series 8 and sees the Doctor arrive in Victorian London to find a dinosaur rampant in the Thames and a spate of deadly spontaneous combustions.

The episode will be available to buy from Monday 8 September, priced at £12.99 for DVD and £15.99 for Blu-ray.

Extras will include Doctor Who Live: The Next Doctor, in which Peter Capaldi was revealed as the Twelfth Doctor, a 10-minute behind the scenes feature, and further exclusive content.
