Doctor Who filming in Bristol with Millie Gibson and Anita Dobson

The area of Frederick Place in the Clifton section of Bristol was decorated for Christmas as a crew filmed scenes for the 2023 Doctor Who festive special with Millie Gibson and Anita Dobson on 7 February.

Just as it was for the 20 January Doctor Who filming, the neighbourhood was set-dressed with street signs to make it resemble Notting Hill in London.

Not long after, a London double decker bus and the TARDIS arrived.

Millie Gibson was filmed disembarking from the bus and walking down the street with shopping bags.

Then Anita Dobson was filmed in a scene talking to another actor on the same street.

Then Millie Gibson filmed some scenes of her character companion Ruby Sunday entering and exiting the TARDIS.

Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. In the following festive period, Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor.
