ITV picks up the rights to Ghosted

20th Century Fox’s new live action comedy Ghosted is heading to the UK, courtesy of ITV2. The channel has announced that it’s picked up the show, and will start broadcasting it in the week commencing 30th October.

The official announcement brings with it some added details, too. For here is the requisite blurb on the programme…

Starring Adam Scott (Big Little Lies, Parks and Recreation, Hot Tub Time Machine) and Craig Robinson (The Office US, Hot Tub Time Machine, This Is The End), Ghosted is a single-camera, live action comedy about the partnership between two polar opposites: cynical sceptic (Robinson), and genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Scott), who are recruited by a secret government agency to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.

Also starring Ally Walker (Colony, Sons of Anarchy), Adeel Akhtar (Unforgotten, The Night Manager) and Amber Stevens West (The Carmichael Show, 22 Jump Street), this heroic group of underdogs will look into unexplained activity in Los Angeles, as they attempt to uncover the truth and keep the Earth rotating on its axis for at least one more day.

The exact transmission time and date has yet to be announced.
