Following its successful second series, that’s just come to an end, ITV has quickly confirmed that there will be a third series of The Good Karma Hospital.
Another six episodes of the show have been ordered, that will screen on ITV in 2019. It’ll again be set in Southern India, and Dan Sefton will be hard at work on the scripts.
The senior drama commissioner for ITV is Victoria Fea, and she’s said of the recommission that “we’re delighted to be returning to The Good Karma Hospital for a third series. Writer Dan Sefton has created emotionally engaging storylines and a community of intriguing characters that we all instantly care about. We’re grateful to the cast for bringing them to life and to the production team who film in the most glorious sun-drenched location!”
Filming on the new series begins in August, and casting news is expected around then too.
