4) Wilf: “…please don’t die – you’re the most wonderful man and I don’t want you to die…”
The Doctor: “Never.”
Wilf Mott is one of the few people who can talk some sense into The Doctor. He’s kind and wise and a wonderful friend. So, when Wilf himself seals The Doctor’s fate, it’s – well, it’s like something from a Greek tragedy.
3) “I don’t want to go.”
And since we’re on the subject of the 10th Doctor’s fate, let’s discuss his last words.
“I don’t want to go”; it’s hard enough that we’ve witnessed a heart-wrenching string of goodbyes, but now The Doctor’s practically begging not to regenerate. That hurts, Russell. That hurts.
