Doctor Who fans will be treated to a first look at the Fifteenth Doctor’s new season following the television premiere of the Doctor Who Christmas special.

The new trailer will play out on BBC One after The Church on Ruby Road airs/streams on Christmas Day and will also be available on BBC iPlayer. Though the press release doesn’t say so, trailers typically drop on the official YouTube channel after a special completes transmission.

Disney+ will likely offer the trailer as well since their big promotional push begins with what they are calling Season 1 of Doctor Who.

The Church on Ruby Road will be available globally on 25 December, 17:55 GMT. The special will transmit exclusively on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and Ireland at 5:55pm BT and stream exclusively on Disney+ outside the UK and Ireland.

A new 8-episode Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will debut in Spring of 2024.
