David Tennant and Jessica Hynes are on their way back to the BBC, with a new comedy-drama by the name of There She Goes.
The series is penned by Shaun Pye, based on things that he and his family have been through. And it’ll see Tennant and Hynes as parents bringing up a nine-year old daughter who happens to have a severe learning disability.
Miley Locke will play their daughter, and Edan Hayhurst is in the cast as her brother.
It’ll be a dual timeline series too, covering their present day antics, and also the time immediately after the birth of their daughter.
Five episodes are being made, and the show is earmarked for BBC Four. We’re expecting it later this year. Filming will begin in July, and the episodes are half an hour each.
