The streaming service gives a further look at their upcoming sci-fi epic
Following the trailer in August, Apple TV+ have given us a ‘First Look’ promo in advance of the premiere of their big new science fiction series.
The two and a half minute promo introduces us to some of the principal characters in Foundation’s universe, including Dr. Hari Seldon (Jared Harris) and Brother Day (Lee Pace).
Foundation is based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov. The story chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilisation amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.
The show has been created by David S. Goyer, who has taken on the roles of writer, showrunner and executive producer. The 10-episode series begins streaming on September 24th – while the word ‘epic’ is bandied around a lot, in this case it may well be justified!
As well as Jared Harris and Lee Pace, the cast includes Lou Llobell as Gaal Dornick; Leah Harvey (Les Misérables) as Salvor Hardin; Laura Birn (Void) as Demerzel; Terrence Mann (Sense8) as Brother Dusk; Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn; and Alfred Enoch (Trust Me) as Raych.
Does Foundation look exciting enough to make you take on another streaming subscription? Apple TV+ are certainly hoping so!
