Entertainment Weekly has unveiled several more official photos and concept art for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie.
Alongside Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) in the title role, the 14th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Martian), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes) and Michael Stuhlbarg (Steve Jobs) with Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) and Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel).
Directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister), Doctor Strange is currently shooting in several locations around the world, including London, New York, Hong Kong and Kathmandu, Nepal.
The official synopsis for the movie reads: “Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.”
Speaking to EW in the magazine’s new issue, Cumberbatch teased: “There’s going to be crazy s*** going on.”
Doctor Strange arrives in UK cinemas on 28 October 2016, following the release of Captain America: Civil War next April, featuring Cumberbatch’s Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman.
