Ahead of the show’s return for a final season, the BBC have released a first-look image for Guilt. The shot sees its stars, Mark Bonnar (Litvinenko) and Jamie Sives (Chernobyl) laying in the muck.
Here’s the synopsis for Guilt series 3:
The final part of the trilogy sees the brothers back together but enemies old, and new, cause them to seek ever more desperate solutions to their problems. Digging deep into their past, Max and Jake hope to finally find a future free of danger… and each other.
Joining Bonnar and Sives for series 3 are David Hayman (Help), Amelia Isaac Jones (Beast of Burden), Tamsin Toploski (Slow Horses), Isaura Barbe-Brown (The Gold), Euan MacNaughton (Outlander), Anita Vettesse (Mayflies) and Anders Hayward (Life After Life).
Several of the show’s familiar faces are also returning too. We can expect to see Emun Elliot (The Rig), Phyllis Logan (Downtown Abbey), Greg McHugh (The A List), Ellie Haddington (Motherland), Sara Vickers (The Watchmen) and Henry Pettigrew (The Crown).
Guilt series 3 is written by Neil Forsyth (The Gold). It’s producers are Expectation and Happy Tramp North for BBC Scotland and BBC Two. The director is Patrick Harkins (Happy Valley), the producer is Margaret Matheson (This Is You).
While it airs on BBC Two in April 2024, all four episodes are also dropping on BBC iPlayer at once.
