According to behind-the-scenes photos from a March 3 photo shoot by photographer David Emery posted on Getty Images, David Tennant will appear in a Doctor Who sketch for Red Nose Day, Friday 17 March 2023.
Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising campaign created by Comic Relief to end child poverty throughout the world. The organisation funds programs which help keep children safe and healthy while providing them with support and education.
Comic Relief will broadcast it’s three-hour Red Nose Day special live from from Media City UK, Salford on March 17. The broadcast will include hilarious sketches, live performances, big surprises and stunning music acts, whilst raising much-needed cash for good causes in the UK and abroad.
The behind-the-scenes photos taken of David Tennant show him in his Fourteenth Doctor costume first seen in the Doctor Who BBC centenary special The Power of the Doctor and the teaser trailer for the 60th anniversary specials. Tennant is pictured in various poses from the sketch and with host Sir Lenny Henry.

Sir Lenny Henry himself starred in Doctor Who Series 12 as villainous CEO of VOR Daniel Barton.
