Christina Chong has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
The actress is best known as Lorna Bucket in Doctor Who‘s ‘A Good Man Goes to War’ and her role in ITV medical drama Monroe. She most recently appeared in 24: Live Another Day.
Chong will play “a minor role” in the new Star Wars movie, Variety reports.

Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones and Lexi in CBBC fantasy series Wizards vs Aliens, joined the movie’s cast earlier this year.
Directed by JJ Abrams, Star Wars: Episode VII is filming now and arrives in UK cinemas on 18 December 2015.
