Doctor Who fans teased to watch BBC One on September 23

A promotional teaser which first appeared on BBC One on September 16 shared a binary code with a special message.

The binary code shared this message:

“Saturday, 23 September, BBC One 6:10PM” and “Their time has come”

In the minutes before ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ airs on the channel, there will be a Doctor Who trailer, according to the latest message on the channel posted on September 22, likely for the three 60th anniversary specials which will air in November. This will hopefully be the BBC’s opportunity to announce the exact dates the specials will air.

Leading up to the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, some photo teasers were released on official social media under the #WhoSpy hashtag.

Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate as companion Donna Noble titled The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle.

Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor in the Doctor Who Christmas special alongside Millie Gibson as companion Ruby Sunday in December 2023.

A new 8-episode Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby will debut in Spring of 2024.
