Friars Point House was originally built in 1958 as a hotel by Francis Crawshay who bought Barry Island in 1856. It was remodelled and expanded in 1894.
It shall be interesting to see what the Weeping Angels will be up at the historic house when Doctor Who Series 13 airs later this year.
Weeping Angels were also spotted during recent Doctor Who filming in Cardiff, Barry, and Saint Hilary, Wales.
The first filming block for Doctor Who Series 13 also contains filming for Episode 1, which features Sontarans.
Eight episodes are planned for Doctor Who Series 13. The introduction clip for companion Dan (John Bishop) revealed the series is scheduled to air sometime in 2021, likely late autumn.
