Despite the Dalek mention, the only Dalek known to be spotted in the area was a cosplaying fan who was happy to have spotted Mandip Gill on the scene.
Casually stumbles into doctor who filming

Although the fictional Torchwood hub is located at the Millennium Centre, the filming took place in the Ffresh Cabaret Bar, which is located inside the centre.

The location was, no-doubt, selected for its modern lines and the otherworldly metallic trees which are part of its decor. The bar was further set-dressed with futuristic metallic furniture to give it a bar-on-an-alien-planet look.

Eight episodes are planned for Doctor Who Series 13. The introduction clip for companion Dan (John Bishop) revealed the series is scheduled to air sometime in 2021, likely late autumn. The filming will continue into July, according to Bishop, who spoke of his involvement as a Doctor Who companion on Sunday Brunch February 14.
