Millie Gibson filmed scenes for the 2025 series of Doctor Who at Frederick Place in Bristol on November 15, 2023.

Also present for the filming was Jonah Hauer-King, who played Prince Eric in the live action movies of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Actor Blake Patrick Anderson was also spotted filming.

Extras carried placards depicting aliens which read “HAVE YOU SEEN ME?”, “SHOW US THE TECH” and “WHERE’S THE £££ GOING?”.

There were also extras present portraying UNIT (Unified Intelligence Taskforce) soldiers.

Frederick Place was set-dressed with signs and a taxi as Minto Road in the Notting Hill section of London.

The filming was for Episode Four of the 2025 Doctor Who series, directed by Peter Hoar.

Frederick Place was then set up for a night shoot.

Scenes with a couple were filmed at nightfall.

Millie Gibson and Jonah Hauer-King smiled as they filmed romantic scenes together. Gibson’s character Ruby Sunday has longer hair in this episode, suggesting some time has passed.

There was one more scene to be filmed at a bus stop.

There was also some Doctor Who filming at Berkeley Square in Bristol earlier in the day.

Doctor Who will return on 25 November 2023 with The Star Beast, the first of three Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate as companion Donna Noble — followed by Wild Blue Yonder on 2 December and The Giggle on 9 December.

Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor in the Doctor Who Christmas special The Church on Ruby Road alongside Millie Gibson as companion Ruby Sunday on 25 December.

A new 8-episode Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will debut in Spring of 2024 followed by the 2024 festive special later in the year.
