Andrew Scott has confirmed that he has begun shooting his role in SPECTRE, the upcoming 24th 007 movie.
As rumoured last month, the Irish actor is playing a Whitehall-based character called Denbigh in the movie.
Speaking to GQ, Scott revealed: “Yeah, I’ve started filming, I’ve got some great stuff in that some really beautiful stuff, yeah.”
Asked if his character would be well-dressed, he commented: “I am. Because it’s such an English brand I’m going to be wearing an English brand in it. I’m wearing Burberry.”
He refused to give away any more details, however: “I couldn’t possibly give that away or someone would come and shoot me.”
Sherlock‘s new one-off special started filming last week in Bristol. It has not yet been announced if Scott will be returning as Moriarty in the episode.
Principal photography on SPECTRE began in December, with Daniel Craig playing 007 for a fourth time.
