It looks like the BBC are going to continue Keeping Faith, as they’ve announced that production on a second series of the hit drama is currently underway…
The series, which started out life on BBC One Wales, was a true word-of-mouth hit – it garnered so much attention on its original channel that BBC One picked it up and aired it to a wider audience. It seems like Keeping Faith was enough of a success to warrant a second outing.
Keeping Faith‘s first series followed Torchwood’s Eve Myles as Faith Howells, a solicitor forced to investigate the disappearance of her husband while on maternity leave. It was penned by Matthew Hall and directed by Pip Broughton and Andy Newbery.
Keeping Faith is set to return to the BBC next year.
