A new adult animated series is on the horizon form Prime Video with a mix of well-known names on the cast list, here’s what we know about it so far:
The world of adult animation has come into its own in recent years, with projects like Bojack Horseman and Bob’s Burgers settling into the mainstream and challenging the positions of long-running properties such as The Simpsons or Family Guy. Prime Video has announced a brand new animated series, Kevin and there’s a trailer and cast list to boot!
What’s it about?
Kevin follows the titular character’s experience as a domestic cat experiencing a big shake-up. After his owners break up, he finds his way to a rescue centre in Queens. Here, he meets animals who have ended up there for one reason or another, all of whom help him figure out what’s next in this new chapter of his life.
Who’s in it?
The main cast list includes Jason Schwartzman (Isle of Dogs), Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus), Whoopi Goldberg (Sister Act), John Waters (Hairspray), Aparna Nancherla (Bob’s Burgers), Gil Ozeri (Big Mouth) and Amy Sedaris (Bojack Horseman).
The guest list is densely populated with names from screen fame to internet superstars.
