The second season of Doctor Who starring William Hartnell is available for pre-order on Blu-ray.

The release date for Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 2 Blu-ray, which consists of 37 episodes and many special features has not yet been announced.

Billed as the biggest release yet, Season 2 is a limited edition nine-disc box set from the early years of the programme with William Hartnell in the role of the Doctor.

A specially-shot announcement trailer was released, written by new series contributor Pete McTighe (Keblam!, Praxeus), featuring Maureen O’Brien in a special feature titled The Storyteller, which shows Vicki, now Cressida, as a grandmother after she left the TARDIS to marry Trojan Troilus.
