Fisher-Becker is fondly remembered by Doctor Who fans for lending menace and humour to his role as Dorium Maldovar, a blue-skinned 52nd century Crespallion black marketeer who first made an appearance in the Series 5 episode The Pandorica Opens. Appearing in Series 5 and 6 alongside Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor, his portrayal culminated in the memorable image of Dorium as a talking head in an ornate box. He reprised the role in several Big Finish audio productions. Known for his warmth and generosity, he was a fixture at conventions, where he connected with fans and shared stories.
