The Roy children are ready to go to war in the Succession Season 4 trailer.
Sky have dropped the trailer for Season 4 of Succession, the high-stakes family and corporate drama’s final run.
The decision to end the show was recently confirmed by showrunner Jesse Armstrong, who wants it to “…go out strong.”
Here’s the synopsis for the Succession Season 4:
Succession explores themes of power and family dynamics through the eyes of patriarch Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his four grown children, Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Connor (Alan Ruck).
In series 4, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.
“He’s moseying… terrifyingly moseying. It’s like if Santa Claus was a hitman.”
There’s so much packed into that two minutes and twenty second trailer, so it’s difficult to know where to start; one thing that really jumped out at us was the confrontation between Shiv and Tom (Matthew Macfadyen). Plus, the traitorous prospect of Roman returning to Logan’s side as his “firebreather”. We can’t wait!
Succession Season 4 begins on Monday, March 27th 2023.
Thanks to a simulcast with the US, where the show airs on HBO, it premieres each week at 2 am on Sky Atlantic. If that’s a bit early (or late) for you, it is also available on demand and via the streamer NOW.
