The gun toting comic book assassin comes to television on 17th November.
As the trailer shows, Hit-Monkey tells the story of a Japanese snow monkey who is on a quest for revenge, joined by the wise-cracking ghost of an American assassin. It is based on the original comic book series created by writer Daniel Way and artist Dalibor Talajić.
We’re seeing Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), with a guns and a truculent simian!
The show has an impressive cast, with Fred Tatasciore voicing Hit-Monkey himself and Jason Sudeikis as his mentor Bryce, as well as Star Trek legend George Takei, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki and Nobi Nakanishi.
Hit-Monkey has been created Will Speck and Josh Gordon, who will serve as showrunners.
- Sadly with the show is on Hulu in the US, there’s no confirmation as to where it might land in the UK. Hopefully on Disney+, where fellow adult Marvel comic series MODOK has landed.
- Frankly, we can’t wait!
