It’s been a long wait, but Wednesday Addams is finally heading back to Nevermore Academy.
Updated 22/05/25: Behind the scenes with the Addams Family.
Following last month’s date reveal, Netflix have delivered a sneak peek for Wednesday season 2.
The three-minute video looks at how the wider Addams Family will be incorporated into the show, with contributions from the showrunners, director and executive producer Tim Burton, as well as the cast.

Burton promises more development for Wednesday’s younger brother Pugsley, who’s now also a student at the Nevermore Academy. He describes him as “… an outcast among outcasts,” and complements actor Isaac Ordonez saying, “Isaac did a really beautiful job of capturing the pathos of Pugsley.”
There’s also a first proper look at Joanna Lumley’s Grandmama in action, with showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar pointing out that they have plenty of scope, as there really isn’t a lot of Addams Family lore to adhere to.
Wednesday season 2 lands on Netflix in two halves. The first four episodes arrive on August 6th, while the second four appear on September 3rd, 2025.
