To celebrate Silva Screen Records’ release of the Game of Thrones Season 3 soundtrack album on Monday 8 Juy, we’ve copies to give away to five of Twitter followers!
Episode 9 of Game of Thrones has traditionally been the episode where – for want of a better phrase – shit goes down. The first season’s ‘Baelor’ saw the show’s central character and biggest star lose his head, while Season 2’s ‘Blackwater’ saw the astonishingly mounted battle of the Blackwater. This season’s ninth episode is titled ‘The Rains of Castamere’, and, well, with pun well and truly intended; this might be the most significant Game-changer yet!
The titular climb is unquestionably the centre-piece of this episode, but there’s plenty else going on in the world of Westeros.
It’s difficult to say now how Spartacus will be remembered, but the members of its vocal fanbase are sure to keep recommending the show to anyone and everyone who’ll listen and it wouldn’t be surprising to see that legion of fans become something much larger as the series is exposed to a wider audience through DVDs.
There are so many moments of glorious awesomeness in Spartacus: War of the Damned that choosing just five hardly gets close to mentioning everything of note that takes place in the season (out this week on DVD and Blu-ray).
A more sedate episode than last week’s barnstormer, ‘Kissed By Fire’ gives us a new insight into several characters, while the spectre of Ned haunts the Stark children.
Spartacus: War of the Damned – the epic final season of the Spartacus saga – is out on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday 29 April.
To celebrate the release, we’ve got a copy of the boxset to give away to one of our Twitter followers!
“Dracarys”. And with that word, Game of Thrones fans around the world leap out of their seat and punch the air in solidarity with the queen of dragons.
