As part of the Friendship is Universal celebration, Doctor Who fans in the UK and USA have the opportunity to win an exclusive local screening, with their friends and family, of the Doctor Who Christmas special Joy to the World before it airs.

Friendship is Universal celebrates the companionship and camaraderie that is at the heart(s) ❤❤ of Doctor Who. The contest winner can invite up to 29 guests for the screening, 30 persons in total, with refreshments provided.

The screening will take place on a date between December 14 and December 18, 2024.

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the United States over 18 years of age.

Fans can enter the cinema screening contest by submitting their details before 23:59pm BST on 13 October 2024.

Written by Steven Moffat and directed by Alex Pillai, Joy to the World, starring Ncuti Gatwa, Nicola Coughlan, Jonathan Aris and Joel Fry, will transmit in the 2024 holiday season, likely Christmas Day, on BBC One in the UK and Ireland and Disney+ everywhere else.
