After flying into Tenerife on April 1, the Doctor Who production crew and cast, including Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole started work on filming April 2.
On April 2 and 3, the production filmed in a landscape dominated by pines growing in volcanic soil around Montaña Samara near Mount Teide.
We lost track of the production on April 4 but were able to find out that they traveled to the other end of the island to Santa Cruz on April 5 to film in front of the Auditorio de Tenerife, Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole were reported to be there. The three actors were not in formal wear as Walsh, Cole and Mandip Gill were seen wearing during location filming in Wales.
One person managed to get a photo of the filming activity at Auditorio de Tenerife:

The crew are still working on filming Block 2, believed to consist of Episodes 3 and 4.
At least five guest stars were reported with the cast, including one actor known for playing creatures. We’ve also heard reports of actors sporting brightly colored wigs in shades of green, pink and yellow.
The series will air very early in 2020. One of the people who worked on the one of the episodes filmed in Tenerife was told not say anything about their involvement until May 2020. This date may be just after one of the episodes filmed in Tenerife will air. If this is the case, the series may not premiere until April 2020. If the go-ahead date the person was given was for after the entire series airs, then Doctor Who Series 12 will premiere in late February 2020.
We will continue to bring you reports of Doctor Who Series 12 filming as it happens.
