Stranger Things season 3: filming may start sooner than expected

Netflix’s biggest show right now is the blockbuster that is Stranger Things, with the second season released last October proving to be another monster hit. However, the show’s creators – the Duffer brothers – had cautioned that the greenlit season three was going to take a bit longer to bring to the screen, leading most to conclude that we won’t see it until 2019.

However, one of the stars of the show – David Harbour – has now suggested that filming may start earlier than expected. In a new interview with Collider, he’s said that “I’ve heard rumours that it’s supposed to be March or April, but I don’t have a confirmation”.

In truth, if Harbour is on the money, it still points towards a 2019 debut for Stranger Things season 3. But we’ll keep you posted as we get more information. It does at least sound as though things are more advanced than had previously been suggested.
