Misfits ran for five seasons and by the end had a completely different cast to the one it had started with.
Here’s a look at what some of those cast members are doing now, just over two years since the show ended…
Lauren Socha
Following three seasons as Kelly in Misfits, for which she won a Best Supporting Actress BAFTA, Lauren Socha exited the show.
The decision came after the actress was convicted of racially aggravated assault against a taxi driver and (ironically) sentenced to community service for real. Since then, Socha has appeared in ITV sitcom Plebs and Channel 4 comedy Catastrophe.
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett’s time as Curtis in Misfits came to an end during the fourth season, making him the last of the show’s original cast members to bow out.
Not long after exiting Misfits, Stewart-Jarrett landed a lead role in Channel 4 conspiracy thriller Utopia, which gained a strong cult following over the course of its two seasons. He most recently appeared in the second season of ITV mini-series Prey.
Joe Gilgun
The third season of Misfits saw the arrival of Joe Gilgun as Rudy, and he remained in the show until it ended. Before Misfits, Gilgun played Richard ‘Woody’ Woodford in hit film This Is England (as well as the TV spin-offs This Is England ’86 and ’88) and he has since reprised this role in 2015’s This Is England ’90 on Channel 4.
On the big screen, he had a major role in multi-award-winning British film Pride, which told the unlikely true story of the ‘Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners’ campaign in the 1980s. Gilgun will next appear as a main character in upcoming American TV series Preacher, based on the DC comic book series of the same name.
