Misfits ran for five seasons and by the end had a completely different cast to the one it had started with.
Here’s a look at what some of those cast members are doing now, just over two years since the show ended…
Nathan McMullen
Nathan McMullen joined Misfits as Finn at the beginning of its fourth season, when there was a major cast overhaul following the departure of several major characters.
Since the show ended, McMullen has appeared in BBC mini-series The Driver and the 2014 Christmas special of Doctor Who.
Karla Crome
In addition to Nathan McMullen as Finn, Season 4’s opening episode introduced us to Karla Crome as Jess. Since Misfits came to an end, she’s had lead roles in BBC One drama Prisoners’ Wives and in American sci-fi series Under the Dome. Chrome is also a playwright and, in between TV roles, has written well-received plays including Mush and Me and If Chloe Can.
Most recently she was in comedy-drama You, Me and the Apocalypse, which debuted on Sky in late 2015 and will soon be broadcast on NBC in the USA, and Linda at London’s Royal Court Theatre, alongside Noma Dumezweni who has just been cast as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Natasha O’Keeffe
Natasha O’Keeffe joined the cast of Misfits as Abby during its fourth season.
Since then, she has appeared in Scottish comedy-drama film Filth (alongside James McAvoy), crime dramas Peaky Blinders and The Last Panthers, and ITV’s Jekyll and Hyde. O’Keeffe could recently be seen in the Sherlock New Year’s Day special ‘The Abominable Bride’ as the eponymous bride.
Matt Stokoe
Matt Stokoe first appeared in Misfits as Alex (“from the bar”) in its fourth season, before joining the rest of the gang on community service in the fifth and final season.
Post-Misfits he has appeared in BBC One drama The Village and Netflix sci-fi series Sense8. Stokoe can next be seen as a new character in the upcoming third season of BBC One’s The Musketeers.
