As we previously reported, the Doctor Who BBC Centenary special will air in October, according to BBC Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore at the BBC panel at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
“We’ve got a week celebrating our centenary in October, where we’ll have some specials,” Moore stated. “We’ve got the Doctor Who centenary special.”
The BBC’s Centenary falls on 18 October so the special should air some time during that time frame in October.
Moore had nothing further to add about the special, including the title, saying: “I cannot tell you anything about that!”
The Doctor Who BBC Centenary Special, written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Jamie Magnus Stone, stars Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.
