The guest cast has been confirmed for writer Jamie Mathieson’s new episode of Doctor Who.
12 new Doctor Who episodes are currently filming in Cardiff and will begin airing on BBC One in April 2017.
Here’s everything we know so far about Season 10.
Mathieson is the writer of ‘Mummy on the Orient Express’, ‘Flatline’ and ‘The Girl Who Died’ (with Steven Moffat).
The new issue of Doctor Who Magazine reveals that Mathieson’s fourth episode will guest star Kieran Bew (Da Vinci’s Demons), Justin Salinger (Everest), Peter Caulfield (Cucumber), Mimi Ndiweni (Mr Selfridge) and Karen Brayben.
The Being Human writer previously said: “[I’ve submitted] a load of ideas for [Season 10]. Hopefully the Doctor Who camp is still happy with me … it’s been great so far.”
Little Britain actor Matt Lucas – who will be reprising his role as Nardole in this year’s Christmas special followed by a number of episodes in Season 10 – tweeted Mathieson last month, saying “love love love your script.”
The magazine also confirms that classic era writer Rona Munro has penned Season 10’s ninth episode. She previously wrote 1989’s ‘Survival’.

It was reported this week that Peter Capaldi and new co-star Pearl Mackie will be departing as the Twelfth Doctor his latest companion Bill Potts after Season 10, allowing new showrunner Chris Chibnall a “clean slate” when he takes over in 2018.
Several brand new monsters for Season 10 have also been revealed this week.
