The BBC has offered up two chunks of insight into the making of the latest Doctor Who episode, ‘Extremis’.

The galleries, which you can find here and here, show shots from the filming of the show – with director Daniel Nettheim working through scenes on location and on-set – and production art for the episode, including insights into the Doctor’s costume and the design of the Monks.

Our favourite of the lot, though, has to be this shot of Michelle Gomez maintaining her perfect hairstyle while on a rainy location shoot for the Carnathon scenes.
