BBC Children in Need will auction off one of the TARDIS exterior props from the 2022 Doctor Who New Year’s special Eve of the Daleks, according to Radio Times.

Fans will have from 5pm Friday 15 November until 5pm Saturday 23 November (the Doctor Who 61st anniversary) to bid on the TARDIS prop.

“Doctor Who has always been about helping others and making the world a better place,” Thireenth Doctor actor Jodie Whittaker told Radio Times. “So it’s wonderful that my TARDIS can go on to support BBC Children in Need and make a real difference in children’s lives.”

Kylie Minogue’s costume from the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special Voyage of the Damned will also be up for auction on November 15 but the bidding closes seven hours later at midnight for Astrid Peth’s waitress costume.

The owners of both props, Propstore, told Radio Times that they’re expecting bids to range from £3,000 to £6,000 for the costume, and £10,000 to £20,000 for the TARDIS prop.

If you aren’t able to snag the winning bid on either prop, there remains a Doctor Who treat in store, Fifteenth Doctor actor Ncuti Gatwa will appear on the telecast to introduce a “world exclusive” preview from the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special Joy to the World.

BBC Children in Need is a live entertainment extravaganza of comedy, music and surprise guests telecast on BBC One Friday 15 November from 7:00pm to 9:59pm BT. The purpose is to raise life-changing funds for children and young people across the UK. Money raised during the 2024 appeal will help children in communities across the four nations, funding amazing people in family centres, community spaces, youth clubs and refuges; homeless shelters, hospices and helplines. You can donate to BBC Children in Need on their website.

Details on how to bid on both props can be found on the Propstore website.
