Malpractice Series 2

Malpractice comes from writer Grace Ofori-Attah, a former NHS doctor.

Across five episodes, Dr Norma Callahan (Helen Behan) and Dr George Adjei (Jordan Kouamé) will reprise their roles as the Medical Investigation Unit delves into another suspected case of medical negligence.

Simon Heath (CEO of World Productions) said:

“I’m delighted that Grace’s gripping and provocative medical drama struck such a chord with the ITV audience, and that we will have the opportunity to bring Grace’s brand-new investigation to the screen.”

Grace Ofori-Attah added:

“I’m thrilled to be bringing another series of Malpractice to TV screens alongside Polly and the fantastic team at World. I can’t wait to delve into a new and exciting area of medicine, exploring the complex bonds and divisions within hospital teams that push our characters to their limits.”

Ofori-Attah was also recently announced as the adaptor of the baby-swap thriller Playing Nice for ITV too.

We’ll keep you posted on Malpractice Series 2, which will film in 2024. In the meantime, you can still catch Series 1 on ITVX.
