Whittaker, who is an ambassador for the Downs Syndrome charity Mencap, offered her congratulations and support to the young presenter.
The video was likely recorded recently as Jodie Whittaker films her last episode as the thirteenth Doctor on the TARDIS set, the Doctor Who BBC centenary special, which will air in autumn of 2022.
