Netflix has revealed the full trailer for the second (and concluding) season of The Sandman, their series based on Neil Gaiman’s beloved comic books.
The show’s return has been a long time coming, with the first season airing way back in August 2022.
We already know the premiere dates for the new run. As has become fashionable at the streamer, with shows including Stranger Things and Wednesday, season 2 drops in two parts: The 6-chapter Volume 1 lands on Thursday July 3rd 2025, while the 5-chapter Volume 2 follows on Thursday July 24th.
The Sandman Season 2 synopsis tells us…
After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless (Tom Sturridge) must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds. To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything.
