On Christmas day, the BBC released a teaser video for the Doctor Who New Year’s special, Resolution.
At the end of the video, you can hear a Dalek voicing the familiar rant, “Exterminate!”
CultBox had previously reported that Chris Chibnall had spoken the name of the main threat in the special during the panel after the press screening at BFI Southbank on December 18 but we stopped short of revealing it was a Dalek.
No-one from CultBox was present at the screening but here is what Chris Chibnall said in a ten-second video a child in the screening audience posted on Instagram:
“When you see the Dalek, it’s hopefully exciting and it feels rare…”
