The National Space Centre will host a free online weekend of talks, Q&A sessions, workshops, and fun experiences for fans of British science fiction and their families.
BritSciFi ONLINE will take place from Friday, May 14, 5 a.m. EDT to Sunday, May 16, 1 p.m. EDT.
Among the Doctor Who stars participating in BritSciFi ONLINE are Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, David Bradley, Alex Kingston, Nicola Bryant, Sophie Aldred, Daphne Ashbrook, Yee Jee Tso and Dan Starkey. Comic Relief special The Curse of Fatal Death Doctor and Sapphire & Steel actress Joanna Lumley will also participate. There will be other Doctor Who workshops and sessions in addition to the guest appearances.
The British Science fiction content celebrated will be Doctor Who, Blake’s 7, Sapphire and Steel, Thunderbirds, The Prisoner, The Tomorrow People and many other iconic science fiction films, TV programmes, books, comics, games and art.
Friday is Learning Day, with sessions for schools, children, families and fans. This kicks off into a weekend of guest Q&A sessions, workshops and social sessions.

The guests and hosts are all giving their time freely to support the National Space Centre, however, there will be opportunities to purchase autographs and merchandise throughout the online sessions to support the educational charity.
The National Space Centre plans to publish a full programme of sessions for BritSciFi ONLINE in advance on their Facebook and YouTube channels, which will host the event.
