The classic 1980s TV show Magnum PI, that starred Tom Selleck and his fine moustache, is set for a reboot. CBS has ordered the show, with the showrunners behind the recent Hawaii Five-0 revival Peter Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim penning the script.
Furthermore, it’s now been revealed that the project has attracted the attention of Justin Lin. The director of four Fast & Furious movies, as well as Star Trek Beyond, is set to helm the pilot for the new Magnum PI.
All we need now is the casting. It’s unclear yet who will be taking on Selleck’s mantle, but more news as we get it…
