The new season of Doctor Who won’t begin filming until this summer.
It was previously believed that Season 10 would start to film this month, but the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine confirms that the shoot isn’t due to commence until July.
The delay is presumably to wait until filming on the new season of Sherlock is completed. Season 4’s shoot began in April and will continue until the end of July in Cardiff.
2017’s episodes will see Pearl Mackie join Peter Capaldi’s Doctor as new companion Bill.
