The first sign of filming started with a location sign and signage from Bad Wolf.

Crew put up posters as part of the set dressing. Note one for Henrik’s department store where Rose Tyler worked.

Then a familiar face showed up — David Tennant.

Actors Katherine Tate (Donna Noble), Yasmin Finney (Rose), Karl Collins (Shaun Noble) and Jacqueline King (Sylvia Noble) also showed up.

A scene was filmed with a taxi and all five actors with Karl Collins’ character Shaun Temple driving the Taxi.

All five characters were seen heading toward the TARDIS.

Once they got to the TARDIS, there was a brief conversation before the Doctor then Donna entered the TARDIS.

The Doctor has a fateful meeting with a woman with boxes stacked in front of her. Who could she be?

A new sonic screwdriver appears.

Rachel Talalay directs.

Showrunner Russell T Davies and producer Phil Collinson showed up and were interviewed along with the cast for a documentary.

The cast and crew were filming in London all week with filming at Camden Market Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 16-18 May and at Gold Car Park near Wembley Stadium Thursday and Friday, 19 and 20 May.

Location filming is expected to continue with UNIT soldiers in Newport and Cardiff, Wales this week.
